Klypst

Your clipboard is yours.

Updated 11 September 2026

Clipboard history can contain private messages, addresses, links and work information. Klypst keeps all of it on your iPhone.

What Klypst stores

The text, links and images you choose to save, plus when you saved and last used them. Everything is written to a private container on your device that only Klypst and its Shortcuts actions can read. Klypst does not record which app you copied from.

What leaves your iPhone

Nothing. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no crash reporter, no ads and no developer cloud. Klypst makes no network requests.

Reading the clipboard

Klypst never watches the clipboard in the background. It reads the clipboard only when you ask it to: from the Save button in the app, from the shortcut you assign to the Action Button or another trigger, or from the Share Sheet. iOS shows its own paste notice whenever that happens.

Copying from Klypst

A clip you copy back is marked local-only by default, so it is not handed to Universal Clipboard. You can turn that off, and you can set copied clips to expire from the clipboard after a while, in Settings.
